King Charles III Coronation Day

England – Charles III was crowned King as Britain’s first new monarch in 70 years.  Westminster Abbey in London was the ceremonial location that had not been celebrated since Queen Elizabeth II in 1953; Charles III mother.  London also celebrated Queen Camilla coronation at the same time.

The formal ceremony was attended by 2,200 people with the Royal Family; including heads of state, celebrities and faith leaders. Thousand of people lined the streets and some people spent many overnights to save a spot to witness history.

The King and Queen with other Royal members came out to the balcony at Buckingham Palace to wave to the crowd.  Prince Harry was not part of the balcony Royal’s.  A colorful fly-over took place with the start of three days of celebration.
