The highly anticipated Basilica Block Party will be making its triumphant return to a new location, Boom Island in Minneapolis, on August 2 and 3, 2024. This beloved summer festival has been a staple in the Minneapolis community for almost three decades, captivating audiences with its incredible music lineup and contributing to the success of The Basilica of Saint Mary’s fundraising efforts.
Father Daniel Griffith, pastor and rector at Basilica of Saint Mary, expressed his excitement for the festival’s return, stating, “We are thrilled to bring back the Basilica Block Party in 2024. This event has become a cherished tradition for both our community and the city of Minneapolis. Not only does it provide incredible entertainment for attendees, but it also plays a vital role in supporting The Basilica’s mission and outreach to those in need.”
