Toppers Rod and Custom Car Annual Show – 64th

The Annual Car Show; Toppers 64th was held at the Veteran’s Memorial Arena in West Fargo, North Dakota April 6th and 7th.  A large showing of vintage cars filled the arena with thousands of people attending to view and vote for their favorite cars that received trophies.

Robby Vee, the son of Bobby Vee gave a full performance both afternoons of Rock n Roll music.  Robby Vee has also been recognized as a Second Generation Rockabilly Hall of Fame.  After each performance people attending the car show gathered to share with Robby Vee their history of knowing and following his father, Bobby Vee.

The Toppers Car Club began in 1953 with Erlyn Carlson from Fargo, ND as the founder.  Memberships in 1953 numbered 15 and has grown above 300 members.  The Toppers Car Club donate the majority of the show proceeds to charities.
