Rock Arch Dam

Completion of work that was being done over the winter months has nearly finished with the welcoming of Spring. The Fish Lake Dam was built in 1932 near Dunvilla on the Pelican River. The deteriorating of the dam has allowed the time for updating to a more nature friendlier design.

Modification has made the dam easier for fish to pass through as well as other natural animals such as muskrats, otters, frogs and more. The rock arch rapids conveys like a low water level waterfall allowing the fish to move up and downstream.
