The Fargo Marathon started off with cold temperatures and wind when first place was taken by Grofrey Terer from Colorado Springs, Colorado with a time of 2:30.00. Terer said he would be competing in June at the Utah Valley Marathon. Second place was Adam Pangrac, Moorhead with 2:30.39.
The women’s marathon was won for the third straight year by Semehar Tesfaye with a time of 2:39.22 residing at Revere, Mass. Second runner was Jen Van Otterloo, Sioux Center, Iowa, 2:44.17. Half Marathon for men was won by Eric Loeffler, Minneapolis, 1:07.46, Andrew Zachman, Holdingford, Minnesota, 1:08.22. Women Half Marathon first place was Tessa Stoltenburg, Sioux Falls, S.D., 1:20.20, second place Danielle Turk-Bly, Burlington, ND, 1:21.54.
