Fargo, North Dakota – Fans of all ages fully packed the Scheels Arena to celebrate with the country music band Alabama that was formed in 1969. The fans were totally embracing the concert by moving to the rhythm, dancing and staying on their feet through most of the evening. The 2026 tour was announced as “One Last Ride” that recognizes the long run of award-winning recognition of Alabama. This may be the last year of tours for Alabama but the fans were showing their support of the band by embracing the moment.
Friday evening the band gave special tribute to American soldiers and then went non-stop into their history of award-winning songs; Mountain Music, Tennessee River, Dixieland Delight, The Closer you Get, amongst others.
Alabama’s two remaining band members Randy Owen (singer) and Teddy Gentry (guitarist) performed through the evening with seven other band members such as Megan Mullins featured on the fiddle, Kimo Forrest and Jason Roller-guitarists. Alabama with Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry and the late Jeff Cook began performing in Fort Payne, Alabama starting 1969.
