LaGuardia Airport-New York – Recovering from a U.S. Government shutdown that occurred October 1 to November 12, 2025 travelers had stresses comforted when walking through the LaGuardia airport with a Holiday environment surrounding the gates and terminals. Fully decorated Holiday trees were totally lit up, sleighs, snowmen, wrapped gifts and mellow music helped to soften the intensity of the unknown schedules and connections at the airport.
Travel volume for the holidays was record-breaking even with post-shutdown disruptions as the Airlines tried to recover from the Governmental shutdown. Also, winter storms and packed airports added to the pressure of flying during a high rush time of the year for flying.
