Las Vegas hosted the 41styear of hunting and industry featuring the newest technology, safety and gear. Las Vegas has hosted the show for 21 of the 41years. There were over 2,400 exhibitors including the new Pop-Up Preview space. The show was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Sands Expo. More than 60,000 professional hunting, shooting, outdoor and law enforcement representatives attended the Shot Show.
The host organization, the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) notes that the impact economically of the industry is over $51 billion dollars and 310,000 jobs. NSSF featured a number of programs including Project Child Safe, safety education as well as Operation Secure Store.
NSSF has signed expansion contracts for the years 2020 and 2021 to accommodate the long waiting list of exhibitors and educational seminars. The expansion includes MGM Grand Conference Center and future into Caesars Forum.
